Tenerife | Sea to Sky

Tenerife: the most popular of the Canary Islands for tourists. Home to spectacular landscapes, year-round perfect temperatures, and beautifully clear waters.

In the center of the island you’ll find Teide, Spain’s tallest mountain peak, at a peak of 3600m. It’s only an hour and a half’s drive from the ocean (coming from the popular area of Playa de Las Americas); so in a short period of time you can experience a major altitude change. The Day we went up looked cloudy from below, as we drove up (on a scooter, not recommended haha) we went through the clouds. After we go up to the plateau we had a beautiful view of the top of the clouds beneath us.

On the south west coast you can find the cliffs name ‘Los Gigantes’ (The Giants). These cliffs fall straight into the water, an amazing site and also home to many hiking trails (that we didn’t have time to do). From the view point you can also see the island of La Gomera.
